Volunteering at Stevenson
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about volunteering at Stevenson!
VOLUNTEER CLEARANCE
All volunteers must complete a volunteer application. Your application expires the same time as your TB results.
Starting in the 25-26 school year you no longer need to complete a volunteer application each school year.
All volunteers who were cleared during the 24-25 school year will need to scan their Drivers License at the front office in order to receive clearance for the next school year.
If you did NOT complete a volunteer application in the 24-25 school year, you must complete an application prior to receiving clearance for the 25-26 school year.
Stevenson is a CLOSED campus, receiving volunteer clearance is not a pass to be on campus.
Volunteers are only allowed on campus during their specified volunteer hours.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
- Garden volunteers - help students explore the garden, water plants and hand out food samples during lunch time, no experience is necessary!
- Class room volunteers - once you are cleared to volunteer, email your child's teacher to ask about their needs for help. Not every teacher needs support in the classroom.
- Event volunteers - once you are cleared to volunteer, you can sign up for various events (Boo Bash, Breakfast with Buddies, Stevenson Rocks, Talent Show and many more!)
- General volunteer - Stevenson occasionally has volunteer opportunities such as helping with the Holiday Basket donation drive, Eco Student Committee and Lunch Food Waste Sorting. As a cleared volunteer you will receive emails with these opportunities throughout the school year.
