Meet Mrs. Askerneese!

Hello Stevenson Families!

 

I’m Mrs. Askerneese, the Intervention Specialist at Stevenson. My job is to help kids develop social emotional skills at school.  

Social and emotional support groups at Stevenson are enrolling now! Please consider whether your child could benefit from one of these groups. The groups are designed to improve life and social skills for success in and out of the classroom.  

Groups will meet for 20-25 minutes once per week and cover topics such as …

·         Skills for Learning: focus, concentration, self-talk, ignoring distractions

·         Social Support and Emotion Management

·         Problem Solving Skills

If your child needs more individualized support, counseling is offered through Burbank Family Services. Please contact me, Anne Askerneese, for questions about these services.
